The Punch Bowl, Crosthwaite
This is one of our favourite places to eat, situated in the heart of the unspoilt Lyth Valley at Crosthwaite, on the edge of the Lake District. Their award-winning restaurant is contemporary but still cosy with open fires. The bedrooms is stunning too; huge luxurious bedrooms with exposed beams, pristine white bathrooms with rolltop baths, all finished with a great attention to detail. Go Ape, Grizedale Forest
Heart pumping, adrenaline creating, daring but a great deal of fun, there is nothing quite like the ‘Go Ape’ experience. After a busy week despatching orders at Bath House there is no better way to let off steam than climbing up in trees and flying down zip wires. Our favourite is in Grizedale in the Lakes and if you’re up here we would recommend a visit, but there is also bound to be one local to you. Check out their website.
